I got motorola phone tools for Christmas and cannot get it to run on my laptop. It gets to a point and then it just won\’t load anymore. I put it on the family desktop and it installed just fine. I could not figure out why it was doing this and then it finally dawned on me that the desktop has Windows XP and my laptop has Windows Vista. I am almost positive that this is the problem. Am I right? How can I fix this to where I can run MPT on my laptop with Windows Vista?

Howdy! I recently acquired MPT as well, and I love it. I don\’t share your problem – I have XP, and had no difficulties – so I think your assumption is right. Go here: http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/USB_Drivers/Handset_USB_Driver_64/
and download the driver. Hopefully, this should take care of your problem! Good luck.
