well, you have a couple options.

first, you can buy a cable that will connect your enV to computer. it will use the same port on your phone as your power charger and a usb port on your computer. the cable will frequently come with software to help to transfer files to your phone. buying these from your cell phone company will cost you an arm and a leg (well, around $ 30), so i\’d go to a local electronics store or look online. for example:

your other option is to transfer songs directly from your computer to your microsd card. this can be harder, and may not even work for your phone depending on what firmware it has (i know verizon will work). also, you need to have some way to connect the microsd card to your computer: either a port on your computer or a usb adapter (these run about $ 10). if your phone is picky about the location or condition the songs are in, this method might get tricky. i happened to use this method successfully on my phone. however, this method is similar to what you\’ve been doing with your boyfriend\’s phone and if it\’s not working then, it most likely won\’t work any better if you buy an adapter.
