I have the restore file saved as a ipsw. I have altered the hosts file as it should be altered. I have made sure the ports are not being blocked. I have done everything you would normally do when downgrading but I still can’t get passed the “Verifying Iphone restore with apple” and I get error 3194. Please help.

If you have Windows here is the solution.
Sometime windows hide the DNS and don’t read from the host file.
Go to Start -> Run -> and type services.msc
Look for the “DNS Client” and disable it.
Then try to restore.
