I don\’t use or want Blackberry Messenger on my storm. If I cant delete it, is there a way to close it? I just don\’t want it open in my menu. Is there a way to just close it?
Hey James G,
you can delete blackberry messenger by doing one of two things:
from your phone: *highly recommend this route*
- go to options
- select advanced options
- select applications
- find blackberry messenger
- click the blackberry button
- select delete
^ you might get a pop-up asking if you would like to restart your phone, select yes
from your computer:
- plug your blackberry into your computer using the USB cord
- open desktop manager
- open the applications
- uncheck blackberry messenger
- click on “start update”
- allow the phone to remove the application and it should reboot
